If you hadn't noticed, I've cranked out a lot of content about Thrive Themes, which includes Thrive Content Builder, Thrive Leads. They have a bunch of different products under the Thrive label, but if you type in “Thrive Themes review” into YouTube, guess who's number one? That's right. Your boy Preston here.
Software I use to Rank #1 on YouTube
How did I rank number one? Now, some of you guys might not believe me, so here's the screenshot. If you actually type in “Thrive Themes review” into YouTube, there I am at position number one. In this video, I'm going to reveal how I ranked number one. What tools am I using to rank? Cranking out videos is great, but you're not going to get very far unless you optimize those videos. You know, everybody talks about, You should be creating video content. You should be pumping out videos for your niche, but what they don't tell you is that it's not just about cranking out all these videos. It's about optimizing your videos. If you're just cranking out videos, they might hit a few people, but if you optimize your videos for your target audience of those videos, whatever they're searching for, whatever they're looking for, and you offer solutions, and you speak to them, then you've got something.
Software I use to Rank #1 on YouTube
I'm going to reveal the software that I use to help me optimize my videos. YouTube optimization, there's a lot of different things that go into it, like thumbnail optimization, like tags, like headlines, descriptions. There's a lot more to it then just what meets the eye here. What you want to do is you want to have thumbnails be as consistent as you can throughout your channel and your videos. In my videos, I try to make sure it's me and it has something related to whatever the video is about. Other people have done a really great job of this, like my buddy Alpha M, he's done a great job of this on his channel, of making it consistent, where he's in it and he has text that is similar on each thumbnail, so you know it's him on whatever you're searching about. If you see his thumbnail, you go, Hey, that's Alpha M. Great. I'm going to watch his video, and not everybody else's. It's about differentiating yourself.
All that to say, I'm using a tool called TubeBuddy. They have a browser extension, but then once you actually connect it with your YouTube account, it will give you analytics that are built into the back end of YouTube. You just go into your creator's studio, like you normally would, and it'll start to show you things on your YouTube account, like, “Hey, on this video, you should optimize it for this tag.” It'll also show you how you're ranking for tags in your videos. In other words, on my Thrive Themes video, let's check that out real quick here. If I log in and go to that video, it'll show me how I'm ranking for those tags that I put on the video. It will also suggest tags related to your video topics that help you optimize your video. This will help your videos get seen by more people, and hopefully they'll get them to do the desired action that you're telling them to do in the video. In my case, of Thrive Themes review, that video, I just wanted to give people an idea of what the Thrive suite actually does, and then hopefully they would actually purchase through my link where I get a commission. Cha-ching.
That's it. It's called TubeBuddy. Now, I'm actually on the pro plan, and because I like you guys so much, I'm going to hook you up. What am I hooking you up with? Well, the pro plan is usually $9 a month, and there's a link below this video where you can check it out, and I'm hooking you guys up, because AppSumo just released a deal where instead of paying $9 a month indefinitely, all you have to do is click the link below this video and you can get TubeBuddy for a one-time fee of $39. That is what I've been using to optimize all of my videos on YouTube, with tags, keywords. I haven't even got into all of the features yet, because it's such a bad ass tool. I wish I could sit here and tell you guys that I've done everything in the tool. I haven't.
It's got thumbnail optimization. Now, I don't actually use that. I use Snappa. My buddy Chris runs that company. I really like what they've done with it. It's a lot easier for me to use, but you could use TubeBuddy's built-in tool. They also let you get your videos closed captioned through the service. There's just so much in TubeBuddy that if you're on YouTube, if you're a YouTube creator like me, if you're pumping out videos every week, you've got to check out TubeBuddy. It will change your life. It will change your YouTube channel, and help you get more views, more subscribers, and more engagement. It's just one of those tools that when you learn about it, you've got to have it for your channel. There's so many people on YouTube that are doing a really great job, and this is one of those tools that you can use to help push yourself above the competition. Get ahead of them. Have an edge, so to speak.
Go ahead and check out TubeBuddy. That's kind of my secret tool that I've been using on my channel, and with the AppSumo deal, you can get it for a one-time fee of $39. I put that link below this video in the subscription, so that's all I've got for you guys this week. I just want to urge you to keep creating videos, and now optimize them with TubeBuddy. If you're not creating videos, I would urge you to start creating videos. Ever since I got my Canon DSLR, it's really kind of changed how I think about online marketing. I used to do a lot of just blogging with text and images, but now that I'm doing videos, it's really changed my whole business, Preston's Corner. People can see me. They can see what I'm about, and whatever your business is, I would urge you just, hey, it's not going to be perfect. Just start shooting videos. Video is the future, yeah, but it's also the present. As more people start catching on to video and creating their own videos, it's going to get tougher and tougher to rank for those keywords. If you jump in now, you still have lots of opportunity on YouTube, and on the internet, to build your brand and your business online.
That's all I've got for you guys this week. The big reveal, it's TubeBuddy. That's my secret weapon, so to speak, so go ahead and check that out. If you're not creating videos, go ahead and start making videos. That's all I've got for you this week. Thank you so much for watching. That was the big reveal. Go ahead and subscribe to my channel to get all my latest videos right in your inbox, and I look forward to seeing you next time.
