There are pros and cons, as with anything else, in owning a small business, and knowing what they are before starting the process is advantageous. The pros, such as freedom and availability, not having to answer to a boss to answer to, and being in charge of the things that matter most to you and your customers are what make being a business owner worthwhile. The cons are that everything is your responsibility and will demand your attention, all of the risk, financially and otherwise is yours, and you may find yourself having to learn parts of a business you aren’t familiar with, such as accurate bookkeeping. It's not easy and you will have good days and rough rough days. Don't get discouraged and push ahead.
